Poster Designs
These are some of the poster designs with a mix of flyers and invitation designs as well. I feel as though these few are the best ones that I’ve done so far. The ones that I have done for school will have a description so you can get a sense of the project.

Descriptions
The Affects of Music on the Brain (2021)
This is an infographic of what music can do to your brain. I made this piece for an assignment at the Art Academy of Cincinnati. First, we had to pick a top that was interesting to us and then come up with a creative way to show information that we researched. I got the inspiration of the background from looking up some things that people see or imagine while listening to music. A lot of what i found was wave like images and things that flow, like clouds. With the color I wanted to keep it same palette as the brain, but I just lowered the opacity on the colors to make the brain stand out.
Vote Posters (2020)
These posters were created during the time of the election last year. In the process we had to encourage the students around the school to look at the posters and go out and vote. With my posters I wanted to speak to everyone, but more so to the people in my community. Encouraging them to go out and vote because a lot of us weren’t in fear or just because we felt like our voice didn’t matter. I wanted to show that when we all come together we are a forced too reckoned with and that we are stronger together. The poster on the left was voted the most successful from students in my class and two others.
The Queen of Soul (2021)
This poster was apart of a bigger project that I had so much fun doing. For this project we had to pick an artist and with that we had to create 3 album covers for them, a timeline, an invitation, and a poster. Finally, something to put all of those things in. This poster is also an invitation folded the invitation gives information on a concert and folds out into a poster. So whoever got an invitation can also keep the poster. With my poster I wanted to keep the theme that I had going with all of my album covers and timeline. For my album covers I chose to base the theme of Aretha Franklin’s most popular time periods. The 60s, 70s, and 80s. I researched backgrounds from that time period and I went from there. If you want to learn more you can click the button below!
The Elephant and the Butterfly (2020)
For this assignment we got to pick any animal we wanted. Once we picked the animal that we wanted we had to do a graphic reduction of that animal. Then, put it in a setting that seemed fitting to our design. I chose to do a graphic reduction of a butterfly as you can see. Everything else after that just came to me kind a sorta. When I think of butterflies i think of magic. When I think of magic I think of African folk tales and that’s what inspired the elephant and its pattern.
Summerfair (2020)
This poster was project that was submitted for an actual contest. Our professor thought it would be a good idea to turn it into an assignment and submit the posters in the contest that they were having. They wanted a new and fresh look for the Summerfair poster this year, but they also wanted it to look similar to that had been done perviously. We had to include the text that they provided, use they hierarchy that they suggested and incorporate our design with all of it.
Aiken Volleyball Flyer (2024)
For this flyer we just wanted to attract girls to volleyball within Aiken High School.
Self Portrait (2024)
This is a self portrait that I was asked to do for my mentoring program Canvas. To help encourage students about doing graphic design.
